From it’s stunning views and flowers that linger even in summer months, Mt. Spokane at sunset holds a special place in my heart. I can’t think of any other place that captivates my heart and leaves me breathless every time with it’s golden-pink-yellow-orange magic sunsets and quiet stillness. I love it not only because of it’s majesty, but that each session looks different. A breathe of new life every time, if you are local to Spokane and haven’t taken a trip up yet, you’re missing you.
Anna + Jeremy are adventurous souls and outdoor lovers, complete with a pack of children and pups. Up on the mountain, with the wind whipping everyone’s hair into a wild mess, we had a mini family session. After that, we set out to capture a bit of Anna and Jeremy’s love story.
In a few short weeks, we will venture to the top of another mountain and other sunset. Only this time, Jeremy and Anna will say I do.
I will never tire of the views, the love, the wind, the magnitude of the mountain, the sunset and I will never grow tired of telling stories while feeling (quite literally) on top of the world.
2020 is the year that proves that love doesn’t need a roof to be bound and that breaking traditions is in. With so much chaos in the world, there is comfort in knowing that love still thrives. Mountain tops, rooftops, fields, streams, ocean, sand, sky…let me know where you’re going and I’ll follow.
Outdoors are the new venue haven’t you heard? If you’re considering an adventurous elopement or engagement session, or any way to be in the clouds celebrating your love, check out my other elopements, and my feature in Wandering Weddings for how you can start planning your unique day.
