Linds + Joel, my sweethearts, came all the way to the Northern Cascades from South Carolina to have their dream elopement. There were a million tears and laughter, but so many times that I realized we had all fell into silent awe. I mean, what do you even say when you’re standing on what feels like the top of the world anyway?
We were so fortunate to get to spend intentional time with L + J, soak in their sunshine vibes and share stories as we adventured.
We had ice cream on our way to the mountains, got to take our time to explore. Our original hike was not easily accessible due to the snow, so we made some last minute changes that honestly felt serendipitous. They decided to rock-paper-scissors to see who would go first for vows.
The sun set as they exchanged vows and everyone’s eyes got misty af (Joel really lays down the vows smackdown style straight to your heart).
Joel + Linds danced in front of their cabin to “Earth Angel” (Joel’s pick) and we all shared an end-of-night joint that felt ceremonious.
It’s hard saying “see ya later” when you’ve just shared something so intimate and wildly special, but I know we’ll hang again. Love you both to the moon.
