If every day for the rest of forever is a mountaintop elopement, I’ll be just fine with it.
In the stillness, at the peak of what seemed like the top of the world, Jeremy + Anna spoke their vows in front of their children and close friends. Absolutely nothing was traditional and absolutely everything was perfect. Camp circles were made and tents were set up as Jeremy and Anna got ready, Anna in a tent, the kids in their travel van; Anna stopping to tighten Jeremy’s bolo tie as friends looked on tearfully. People were arriving in their four-wheel drive vehicles, cheering with drinks after parking because *if you know you know* the drive up was rocky and steep.
There was no first look, because even though we tried, it was hard to hide our couple from each other. The second Jeremy saw Anna in her dress, there was no point in trying to recreate the moment–it was already happening.
When the entire outdoors is your venue…it’s hard not to feel the magnitude of nature. This isn’t a day I will ever forget. Take me to your mountains, any day.
Over the moon, on top of the world.
